PIZZA EXPRESS – MILLBANK, LONDON
Millbank Menu
At the bend of the River Thames between the Tate Gallery and Lambeth Bridge within ‘heckling’ distance of the Palace of Westminster sits the Grade 2 Listed Millbank Tower . At the east end of the building complex , barely concealed behind the stainless steel and glass facade, lies a veritable oasis for businessmen , museum visitors and tourists and one might suggest the odd stray MP, who in a moment of minor extravagance might well forego the tax payer subsidised fare on offer at the bars and restaurants of the House of Commons and splash out on a ‘sod the expense’ lunch or dinner of Fiorentina with a soft egg and a glass of Chianti.
Although one suspects they MP’s may more readily be found at the Cinnamon Club , the Millbank Lounge or Quirinale quoffing claret with Italian Cheese.

Alan Bayne Associates have delivered an elegant facelift to the previously redundant banking hall. A facility that fell victim to an earlier round of retail banking cut backs, that is, before the banks stumbled, drunk with hubris and headlong into the awaiting arms of the 2008 double dip disaster!
